Portable City

Portable City is primarily a travelogue composed of introspections on movement through both the physical world and nonlinear timelines. Karen Kovacik is the author of two previous collections, Metropolis Burning and Beyond the Velvet Curtain. Her translations of Polish poetry include Krystyna Dąbrowska's Tideline and Jacek Dehnel's Aperture, a finalist for the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation. She is Professor of English at Indiana University Indianapolis.
