Instead, award-winning Japanese paper-cut artist Chihiro Takeuchi takes us on a visual journey through the seasons that showcases diverse cultural celebrations, with a special emphasis on those holidays unique to Japan. She also leans in on the life of one particular family to give readers a sense of the growth they can expect to see happen in twelve months.
