This is the story of Tony Collins Cifuentes, a man who found salvation in the service of others. Starting out life in a tough spot, he grew up in poor neighborhoods of L.A. and San Bernardino, two of California's roughest cities. With troubled parents, Tony went down a troubled path. Bad choices and a gangfight led to a conviction - for a murder Tony didn't commit, his tough reward for an unwise lifestyle. Serving time was the biggest wake up call of Tony's life. He hadn't killed anyone yet there he was, trapped in the web of an errant lifestyle. That's when Tony realized that having gone to church with the uncle who cared and showed him respect also showed him the way out. Tony let God take the lead and a miracle happened: he was released from jail. Tony promised God that he would prove worthy of God's faith in him. Now he's the founding president of the Highlanders Boxing Club and a leader in his community, respected and hailed by law enforcement, politicians, and many other community leaders, Tony is helping youth avoid trouble and lending a hand to those already there, showing them all a new path to follow - with God's help. This is Tony Collins Cifuentes' story - so far.
